A Little About My
History
I am a wife
and mother. I work as a social worker involved in foster care. I
have a six-year-old daughter, infant twin boys, and a seventeen-year-old stepson.
Before
my daughter was
born, I suffered two pregnancy losses. My first loss was an ectopic
pregnancy, my second, only four months later, was a miscarriage at 9 weeks.
After
my losses, I was devastated and distraught, and could think of nothing
more than becoming a mother. I was blessed with the chance.
Juliana Rose
was born in
March of 2002.
While my
daughter filled a void in my life, my marriage quickly fell apart. I
divorced her father in 2005, and soon after, met the man that I always
dreamed of. Paul and I were married in February of 2007.
Life
experience led me in a direction I would have never expected. I
completed my Masters in Counseling to counsel couples and families dealing
with pregnancy loss, neonatal death, and infertility. I have written a
book Becoming a Mother, which I am happy to say I
published in 2003. It is available by e-book and in print.
After
dealing with infertility, Paul and I welcomed twin boys into our family in
the summer of 2008.
My children are the
lights of my life.
I have
written more books dealing with twins, and am currently expanding my
business to focus more on motherhood and multiples.
I
intend to continue to work with families who need counseling and women
who need that ear to listen. I am available for online and
telephone counseling and am happy to be that unbiased listener for those
who may be in need.
